Hey my lovelies, welcome to my Top 10 Christmas Films! Now all of these are must watch films for me during the Christmas period, and one does not even have anything to do with the winter season!

10. 101 Dalmations (1996)

Not strictly a Christmas movie, but definitely a firm favourite of mine, I mean how can it not be, especially when seeing all of the puppies running across the snow at the end.  It is such a feel good film and how can you not want to watch one of the best Disney villains of all time? "Cruella De Vil, Cruella De Vil, if she doesn't scare you, then ain't nothing will, Cruella, Cruella De Vil" If you try to tell me that you did not sing that in your head, you are lying. And if you really want to get into the Disney winter mood, why not watch the second one? Even if it isn't as good as the first. But not many sequels are. Next up is... 

9. Die Hard (1988)

Who doesn't watch a action film at Christmas? It's practically the perfect time for it, especially if you don't want to face the treacherous snow outside. Instead why not watch Bruce Willis battle the bad guys at Christmas.

8. Mickeys Christmas Specials (Once upon a Christmas & Twice upon a Christmas)
For this one I am talking about the proper hand drawn Christmas specials, that used to on. Plus who wouldn't want to see mickey mouse and friends decked out in Christmas gear? I loved watching these Christmas special when I was little, and have kept this as a tradition to watch this.

7. Love Actually (2003)
Do I even have to say anything here? Even if this is the worse Alan Rickman character ever.

6. Home Alone (1990)
"Merry Christmas, ya' filthy animal"
Another one that needs no reason. However, who doesn't like watching a little boy defend his house to robbers? We've all grabbed the baseball bat behind the settee, when somebodies knocked on the front door late at night.

5. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe (2005)

Narnia is not typically a Christmas film, however I cannot go through Christmas, without watching this film. I love it with Aslan, young William Moseley and Mr. Tumnus, it definitely reminds me of being younger.

4. Elf (2003)
What is Christmas without watching Will Ferrell in a pair of green tights? Exactly. Featuring some very sickly looking food, shower singing and the overall feeling of festive cheer. 

3. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch stole Christmas (2000)

Every christmas eve, we watch the Grinch, always resulting in me having a nap during the middle of it, with my dad complaining how much he hates this film, it's actually a tradition in my household now. No matter, what my dad says it is definitely a favourite of mine and my mums. This of cause features a baby Taylor Momsen, Jim Carrey and Christine Baranski.

2. Shrek (2001)

I love Shrek, has to be one of my favourite films of all time, and even though the film came out over – years ago, the animation has not suffered much in comparison to newer films. But the reason that it is in my top Christmas films, is because I cannot remember a Christmas, where one of the Shrek films were not playing on the BBC. So now it is simply associated with Christmas to me.

1. Miracle on 34th Street (1994)

And my favourite Christmas film is of cause Miracle on 34th Street, I love this film. The story is amazing, the acting is amazing, the idea of a little girl who doesn't believe in Santa, learning that her babysitter is in fact St. Nick himself. Well, what could be better? Especially the very end.

Hey my lovelies, today's post is a little different to my normal ones, but I needed a post for whilst I am on holiday and here it is....

10. Wayward Pines (Fox) - This is a new favourite of mine, it's a show that makes you ask so many questions and every episode leaves you with more. Hopefully, we will have more answers soon.

9. The Royals (E)- I enjoyed this show whilst it was on and I have to admit Princess Eleanor is one of my favourite female characters now.

8. The Vampire Diaries (ITV) - This used to be one of my best shows, but ever since half the cast separated to join the Originals, it just hasn't been as good, which is why it is slowly slipping of my Top 10 list.

7. Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic) - I don't know anyone who hasn't loved Game of Thrones after only only the first couple of episodes and anyone who hasn't been heartbroken because of the many deaths that George R Martin has written in.

6. The Originals (Syfy) - I admit since the second season came out, I have binge watched both seasons just to see if they were any good and they were, especially the second season with Daniel Sharmon ;).

5. Pretty Little Liars (MTV) - This is another series i have gradually lost interest in, season 1/2 I thought was great, but since the fan base has got bigger, its slowly lost the mystery to me. Although it only has season 6 and 7 left, so I will definitely see it through to the end.

4. American Horror Story (Fox) - I started watching AHS during it's third season (Coven) and adored it and since I have followed through for Freak Show and plan on doing so for Hotel. Also whilst writing this post I am marathoning Murder House.

3. Teen Wolf (MTV) - Who doesn't love the idea of a group of teens who turn into supernatural creatures running around and trying to save the world. For me the best season was definitely Season 2, but that's mainly because I adore Erica Reyes and that was the season we finally started seeing Lydia as something other than the typical mean girl and hopefully in Season 5 they will take Lydia a step further and show her as the badass we all know she is.

2. The 100 (E4) - This show is amazing and I don't even have the words to describe it, but it is awesome. But I really did feel like smacking the adults in the second season.

1. Orphan Black (BBC) - Tatiana Maslany is an amazing actress. The way she play like seven or eight characters and gives them each a completely different personality and mannerisms. God, I love this show and of cause my favourite clone is a tie between Helena and Alison.

That is it my lovelies, but some honorable mentions do include Humans (Channel 4), 12 Monkey (Syfy) and Extant (Syfy).

Top 10 Thursday Post

Hey my lovelies, todays Top 10 Thursday post is 10 Tips for Wattpad Authors. I have been a member of wattpad for almost 5 years now and have collected these helpful hints and I figured for todays post I would share them with you.

1. The 'never judge a book by its cover' saying does not come into play here. I find that if you have a cover I like, then am more likely to read the story, so the more professional looking the cover, the more reads.

2. Post a chapter once or twice a week on regular days to get a following going. With people regularly checking your story, this will also drive your stats up.

3. You can use multimedia to promote your work, you can request that someone makes you a cover, banner or a trailer in the mutimedia club. This can get people more interested in your work if they see something visual.

4. Don't ask people to read your work, I find that if people do this to me I either delete the comments and I find alot of people also do this as it comes of quite desperate. That does not mean you should not approach people and make friends though.

5. If you find that someone has commented and voted a number of times, its always nice to say thank you and it will make you even more likable in their eye and they could tell their friends.

6. Use other social platforms to promote your work such as tumblr, twitter and facebook. That way using tags you can reach out to a whole other group of people.

7. Always tag your stories with information that is relevant. Trust me, this way your story will come up when relevent stories are searched.

8. When choosing a title, make sure no one on the site has the same one, as you want to stand out and be different.

9.  Don't expect to become famous overnight, or in a week, it takes time for people to find out and read your book.

10. Pay attention to the stats on your stories, this gives you a good indicator if your story will be successful if you plan to publish after completing it.

Top 10 Thursday Post 2

Hey my lovelies, here is a minor disclaimer: Top 10 Thursday is inspired by The Broke and the Bookish. Anyway, todays Top 10 Thursday is ... 10 Books I haven't read yet, but everyone else has.

1. The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare.

Okay, I know it is not a single book, but you will find this a few times through out this post because I have heard so much good things about them, but just haven't been able to read them yet. I have read almost all of the Mortal Instruments books (all except City of Heavenly Fire), so even though I know that the Infernal devices takes place before the mortal instruments, I still want to read it afterwards, when I have finished. Although, I have asked for the series for my birthday, which is in exactly a week.

2. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

I have heard alot about Maggie Stiefvater, from the Raven boys to Shiver, but I have yet to read any of them and I still haven't had the time to do it yet.

3. Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

As you will know, if you have been reading my book review, is that I read my first Rachel Hawkins book was Rebel Belle, which I read last month and after immensely enjoying that I figured, I would give her other series ago as well. Although everyone else seems to have read it about 3 years ago.














4. My True Love gave to me: Twelve Holiday Stories

Most people seem to have read this over christmas, but I seem to have missed the right time frame to read it in. So I am waiting till next christmas to read it, else I will get christmassy now and then realize I still have 10 months left to Christmas, which will make me depressed.

5. Just One Day by Gayle Forman

I really enjoyed If I Stay and Where She Went, so I feel quite excited to read this series, as I believe there are 2 books and a novella? Anyway I have no idea what it is about, as I prefer to go into books blind, so yeah.

6. Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

I am gonna be honest here, I have only read the first four books in the Vampire Academy series, but so far have never had the time to finish it. But I am going to, as I have also asked for the series for my birthday, as I find i am more likely to read physical books than ebooks. I don't know why, I just am. Also the final book in the series came out a few weeks ago.

7. Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

All I know is that its about Aliens and their are 3 bind ups, which are calling my name.

8. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

I have learn't from the book vloggers of youtube that Throne of Glass is really good and has an assassin kickass female main character. What more could you want? So why do you ask haven't I read it yet? No idea.

9. Precious Stone Trilogy by Kerstin Gier

As a major doctor who fan, why have I not read this book? Why Emma Why? Yeah this book has time travel and has really pretty covers. And I don't know why I haven't ought it and read it yet and normally even if it is crap , I will get the book for the cover.

10. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Everyone seems to have read this series everyone. There is Cinder, Cress, Scarlet, Fairest and Winter comes out later this year. But I guess the thought of robots still scare me. But I will over come my fear, I will.
