Top 10 Thursday Post 1

Top 10 Thursday : Top 10 books I am most looking forward too of 2015

Hey my lovelies, for the first Top 10 Thursday post of 2015, I decided to do the books I am most anticipating that will com out in the following year. After finishing writing this post I have discovered that the book that comes out latest in the year is Pretending to be Erica by Michelle Painchaud, which comes out in July, so I have decided there shall be a part 2 of this post later in the year, when we learn more of the books that are going to come out.

1.     End of days by Susan Ee

End of Days is the final book in Susan Ee’s trilogy. I adored Angelfall and World After, they were both amazingly written and  have reviews coming out for both of them. The Angelfall book talk comes out on the 23rd January and World After comes out on the 30th January 20, 2015.

Goodreads summary : After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They’re both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryns’s sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe’s past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.
When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?
The final book in the Penryn & the end of days trilogy, the End of Days by Susan Ee is released on May 12th 2015.

2.     Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins

Miss Mayhem is the sequel to wildly popular Rebel Belle, which I loved click here to read my review on it.

Goodreads Summary: Life is almost back to normal for Harper Price. The Ephors have been silent after their deadly attack at Cotillion months ago, and best friend Bee has returned after a mysterious disappearance. Now Harper can return her focus to the important things in life: school, canoodling with David, her nemesis-turned-ward-slash-boyfie, and even competing in the Miss Pine Grove pageant.
Unfortunately, supernatural chores are never done. The Ephors have decided they’d rather train David than kill him. The catch: Harper has to come along for the ride, but she can’t stay David’s Paladin unless she undergoes an ancient trial that will either kill her . . . or connect her to David for life.

The second book in the Rebel Belle series, Miss Mayhem comes out on April 7th 2015.

3.     I was here by Gaye Foreman

I enjoyed Gayles previous books If I stay and Where she went , so I am hoping these will be just as good, although I understand this novel is going to be even more sad.

Goodreads Summary : Cody and Meg were inseparable. Two peas in a pod. Until . . . they weren’t anymore.
When her best friend Meg drinks a bottle of industrial-strength cleaner alone in a motel room, Cody is understandably shocked and devastated. She and Meg shared everything—so how was there no warning? But when Cody travels to Meg’s college town to pack up the belongings left behind, she discovers that there’s a lot that Meg never told her. About her old roommates, the sort of people Cody never would have met in her dead-end small town in Washington. About Ben McAllister, the boy with a guitar and a sneer, who broke Meg’s heart. And about an encrypted computer file that Cody can’t open—until she does, and suddenly everything Cody thought she knew about her best friend’s death gets thrown into question.

I Was Here is Gayle Forman at her finest, a taut, emotional, and ultimately redemptive story about redefining the meaning of family and finding a way to move forward even in the face of unspeakable loss
I was Here is a standalone novel that is released on January 27th 2015(the same date as my sisters birthday).

5.     Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver

As you should know I am a very big fan of Lauren Olivers Before I Fall, not so much of the Delerium series but I am excited to get my hands on Vanishing Girls

Dara and Nick used to be inseparable, but that was before the accident that left Dara's beautiful face scarred and the two sisters totally estranged. When Dara vanishes on her birthday, Nick thinks Dara is just playing around. But another girl, nine-year-old Madeline Snow, has vanished, too, and Nick becomes increasingly convinced that the two disappearances are linked. Now Nick has to find her sister, before it's too late.

In this edgy and compelling novel, Lauren Oliver creates a world of intrigue, loss, and suspicion as two sisters search to find themselves, and each other

6.     The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall

This is the first novel of a brand new trilogy by Maggie Hall, which I am very excited for.

Goodreads Summary: Avery West's newfound family can shut down Prada when they want to shop in peace, and can just as easily order a bombing when they want to start a war. Part of a powerful and dangerous secret society called the Circle, they believe Avery is the key to an ancient prophecy. Some want to use her as a pawn. Some want her dead.
To unravel the mystery putting her life in danger, Avery must follow a trail of clues from the monuments of Paris to the back alleys of Istanbul with two boys who work for the Circle—beautiful, volatile Stellan and mysterious, magnetic Jack. But as the clues expose a stunning conspiracy that might plunge the world into World War 3, she discovers that both boys are hiding secrets of their own. Now she will have to choose not only between freedom and family--but between the boy who might help her save the world, and the one she's falling in love with.

7.     We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach
Apocalyptic, dystopian and after apocalyptic are very popular at the current time, but I have never read a pre-apocalypse novel, and when I read the synopsis of this one on goodreads, it made me want to read it now! Also the film rights have already been sold and the book does not even come out for another two months.

Goodreads Summary: Four high school seniors put their hopes, hearts, and humanity on the line as an asteroid hurtles toward Earth in this contemporary novel.
They always say that high school is the best time of your life.
Peter, the star basketball player at his school, is worried “they” might actually be right. Meanwhile Eliza can’t wait to escape Seattle—and her reputation—and perfect-on-paper Anita wonders if admission to Princeton is worth the price of abandoning her real dreams. Andy, for his part, doesn’t understand all the fuss about college and career—the future can wait.
Or can it? Because it turns out the future is hurtling through space with the potential to wipe out life on Earth. As these four seniors—along with the rest of the planet—wait to see what damage an asteroid will cause, they must abandon all thoughts of the future and decide how they’re going to spend what remains of the present.
We All Looked Up is going to be released on 21st March 2015.

8.     None of the Above by L.W. Gregorio
None of the Above sounds like a real heartbreaking story, that needs to be read and I hope will give everyone a lot of feels and its already rated 4.23 on goodreads, that means it’s a good book in my book and in our century we need more diverse  books like this.

Goodreads Summary: A groundbreaking story about a teenage girl who discovers she's intersex . . . and what happens when her secret is revealed to the entire school. Incredibly compelling and sensitively told, None of the Above is a thought-provoking novel that explores what it means to be a boy, a girl, or something in between.

10.   Pretending to be Erica by Michelle Painchaud

Pretending to be Erica is the story of a girl who has been training her entire life to be a con artist. As if that isn’t interesting enough, just check out the cover.

Goodreads summary: Seventeen-year-old Violet’s entire life has revolved around one thing: becoming Erica Silverman, an heiress kidnapped at age five and never seen again. Violet’s father, the best con man in Las Vegas, has a plan, chilling in its very specific precision. Violet shares a blood type with Erica; soon, thanks to surgery and blackmail, she has the same face, body, and DNA. She knows every detail of the Silvermans’ lives, as well as the PTSD she will have to fake around them. And then, when the time is right, she “reappears”—Erica Silverman, brought home by some kind of miracle. But she is also Violet, and she has a job: Stay long enough to steal the Silverman Painting, an Old Master legendary in the Vegas crime world. Walking a razor’s edge, calculating every decision, not sure sometimes who she is or what she is doing it for, Violet is an unforgettable heroine, and Pretending to be Erica is a killer debut
