Hey my lovelies, welcome to another (two) months wrap up! In May I only managed to read four books, so I decided to wait and do another combination wrap up with June! So lets get down to it...

The first book I read in May was Half Wild by Sally Green, I first read this a few years ago, when it first came out, but when I decided to finally read Half Lost for the first time, I had to read this as well, as in April I read Half Bad. And shockingly the next book I read was Half Lost, are you seeing a theme yet? You can find my review of Half Wild by Sally Green here. As I said I also read Half Lost, however currently I'm not really sure how I'm feeling about it, as the series definitely did not end the way I was expecting it too.

The third book I read in May was Caraval by Stephanie Gerber, and I loved it! This will definitely be making it on my favourites of 2017 post at the end of the year, and I am so excited for the sequel, I won't delve into any of the juicy bits right now, as I have plans to post a full review by the end of next month. 

The fourth book I read in May was Love you to death by Meg Cabot, I got it in my head that the best way to get myself out of a (mini) reading slump, was to read an old favourite series of mine, however when I went to do this I actually only got round to reading the first one. 

And now onto June I read a grand total of 5 books. With the first one being The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, and wow was this a book, for me the only downfall is the novel definitely seemed to last forever, as I got thoroughly enraptured in the world building and writing of the book. And in all honesty if you haven't read it yet, what have you been doing? And you should do exactly what I did and go into it completely blind.

The second book I read in June was Pigeon Blood Red by Ed E. Duncan, in all honesty I received this book in exchange for review last year, and I have only just managed to get round to reading it (I'm sorry), which is why I'm not going to get to into the nitty gritty details, as the review is scheduled for the 21st July. However, Pigeon Blood Red is a multiple point of view thriller, following our mains face the consequences for actions they didn't necessarily take. 

The third book I read in June was Landline by Rainbow Rowell, I started reading this book about two, maybe three years ago, whilst on holiday and didn't enjoy it, so I put it down. So I decided to give it another go, and I really enjoyed it, maybe it is because I'm older now? I'm not really sure. Landline follows a woman in a declining marriage, who finds an old telephone that allows her to ring her husband back in the late nineties, which gives her the option of changing the past, so he never married her in the first place. 

The fourth book I read in June was Soundless by Richelle Mead, this was another book I wanted knocked off my TBR, and I've finally done it! Woohoo. It also means I've read every book on my Richelle Mead/Marie Lu shelf, which I am very happy about. Soundless follows Fei, who lives in a deaf village, which relies on the town below to deliver them food, however everything changes when she suddenly regains her hearing.  

The fifth book I read in June was Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, this was another reread for me, as I have plans to complete the Red Queen series this summer. The last time I read Red Queen I wrote a review, which you can find here. 

July TBR

And now onto the books I plan to read in July, So this months TBR pile has 4 books in and they are...

The first book I plan to read in June is Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard, as the final book I read in June was Red Queen, my plan is to try to complete the series, as I have yet to read the next 2.5 books. 

The second book I plan to read in June is Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard, I have technically read this book before, as I did read Queen Song, when it  was released, however bar Coriane dying (which isn't a spoiler), I can't  really remember what happened. 

The third book I plan to read in June is King's Cage, also by Victoria Aveyard, and is the most recent published one, as it only came out in February. With the fourth and final book expected to be released in February 2018, and I know if I don't get this series knocked out this summer, there is no way I will be able to read it when the next one comes out.

Hey my lovelies, welcome to this months reading wrap up and I am happy to say that I have finally ended my reading slump. Woop Woop! Which is why I read a grand total of 7 books in the month of April, and pretty much all of them are Marie Lu books.

April Wrap Up

The first book I read in April was a reread and it was The Young Elites by Marie Lu, I first read this book around two year ago and planned to read the other books in the trilogy when they came out, however I never got round to it and now I finally have. I definitely enjoyed it a lot more than the last time, as I am really into reading stories about anti-heroes right now, which you probably would have realised on your own by the end of this wrap up. You can find out more of my thoughts on The Young Elites on the 12th when my review is scheduled to come out.

The second book I read in April, shockingly was The Rose Society by Marie Lu, the second book in the Young Elite trilogy. Again, I really enjoyed this. There was certain things that I would have preferred to of happened, but again it's not really something I have much of a say on, as I didn't read it. And I really wanted to explore Guiletta's character a lot more, and sadly that did not happen. 

The third book I read in April was The Midnight Star by Marie Lu, this is the final book in the Young Elite trilogy, and it did not disappoint. I really like the ending of this series and how all of the loose ends tied up in a little bow. My review of The Midnight Star is expected to be out on the 26th May.

The next series I started and then completed was the Legend trilogy by Marie Lu. After really enjoying the Young Elites, I thought I would finally knock this one of my tbr and gave it ago. Although I have to say I did not enjoy this as much as the other series, and would have preferred it if some things were slightly different, but you can find out what I thought about the entire trilogy in my review of it coming out on the 2nd June.

And the final book I read in April was Half Bad by Sally Green, this was another reread for me, as I really want to finish this series and find out the end of Nathan's story. I read both Half Bad and Half Wild almost two years ago now, and have been planning to read Half Lost for quite sometime and after picking up a signed hardcover, with a small note inside, I've been desperate to find out what it means. 

May TBR

And now onto the books I plan to read in May, but probably won't. And this months TBR is all to do with retellings, due to me picking up Heartless by Marissa Meyer last months and putting it at the top of my TBR pile. 

You can probably guess what the first book on my TBR is, and that is Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I've owned the Lunar Chronicles for round about a year now, and have only ever got round to reading it once, and then I couldn't get passed the first chapter of Cinder, so it didn't go the best. And since then I've been ignoring that section of my shelf, so in order to hopefully get used to her writing styles I am starting off with Heartless. Heartless is a prequel to Alice in Wonderland, following the story of the Queen of Hearts before she even became Queen. All I know of it so far is what I've read on the blurb, and  that alone has me interested. I purchased this due to being Llandudno and felt inspired after seeing all of the statues around the town. 

Another shocking book on my tbr is of cause the first book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Now this is a much loved book series for some people, and other people hate it, and after owning all of the books I really don't want to be a part of the group of people who hate it. But hopefully after reading Heartless, I shall be more accustomed to her writing style, and be able to get on with the rest of the series. All I know about Cinder, is that it's a Cinderella retelling with a scifi twist, and based on the book cover Cinder is in fact a cyborg, or part cyborg. Hopefully after finishing this one then I will be able to move on to Scarlet. 

The third book on my tbr is Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige, I don't really know a lot about this one, only that it is a retelling of the Snow Queen and is set in modern upstate New York, in some sort of mental facility. But other than this I am going into this book completely blind (how I prefer to, in all honesty). 

And the fourth and final book on my tbr is The Wicked Will Rise by Danielle Paige, The Wicked Will Rise is the second book in the Dorothy Must Die series, and I read Dorothy Must Die back in January, and really enjoyed it, and never got round to reading it (are you guys sick of me saying this yet?), however I've been dying to read it, so why not in my very own retelling's month?

Hey my lovelies, the first thing I would like to say is I'm sorry, for the past two months surprisingly I have been very busy with college and going round different universities, so I haven't had alot of time for reading or for writing posts, which is why there have been no reviews in October and a lack of wrap ups lately, so I have decided to just collaborate it all. On the plus side though I have decided to get more organised and bought myself a bullet journal.

Now lets start of with August, my god, I have been neglecting you guys. The first book I read in August was Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, I read this on holiday and really enjoyed the cutesy friendship between the two mains. I started reading And I Darken by Kiersten White, on the plane, but I simply could not get into the book, no matter how many times I tried, so in the end I kind off felt as if I was forcing myself to finish the book. When looking at all of the reviews, considering how many people raved about the book, i came to the conclusion that the book was just not for me. The third book I read in august was The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The fourth book I read in August was Beautiful Broken Things by Sara Barnard. The fifth book I read in August was Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas, I expected great things from this book especially after the amazingness of Dangerous Girls. However I feel like if I had read this book pre Dangerous Girls, i would have enjoyed this a lot more, as I kind off expected the twists that happened at the end. But apart from that it was well written and I read it in about an hour and a half if that.

And in September I read five books, all of which were arcs, these include The History Major by Michael Phillip Cash (review can be found here), Tokyo Cover Girls by Jackie Amsden (Review can be found here), Choosing Happy by Samatha Harris (review can be found here) and The Shattered Seam by Kathleen Groger (review can be found here).

Now onto October, I read a grand total of 5 books, yeah not a lot considering the half term break I had off *shrugs*. Anyway, in these five books I managed to finish a series. start a series and reread an old favourite. 

The first book that I read was Avalon High by Meg Cabot, this is an old favourite of mine. And simply needs no explaining. 

The second book I read was Replica by Lauren Oliver, its no surprise hearing that as soon as a Lauren Oliver announced her latest book I pre-ordered and have only just been able to read the book. And I have to say it lived upto my expectations, not Before I Fall expectations, but certainly the Vanishing Girls expectations. However, you can find out more of my opinion on Replica in my book review on the 11th of November. 

The third book I read in October was Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children by Ransom Riggs, I LOVED this book. It was exactly how I expected it to be with the creepiness and scariness, causing me to start reading my fourth book of the month Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, the second book in the Miss Peregrines series. I thoroughly enjoyed them both, however the first was still my favourite. At the stage of writing this wrap up, I have not wrote a review for either books, however I'm debating writing a series review. Once I finish the final book. 

The fifth and final book of the month was The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson, this is the conclusion to the acclaimed Remnant Chronicles, which if you have followed my reviews for a while, will know I love. Seriously, though if you have not already read this series. READ IT NOW. It is that good, it deserves capitals. You can find more about what I thought of it in my review here. 

TBR

This months TBR consists of 4 books, however I am not going to choosing books to specifically read, as this will *hopefully* allow me to read more without the pressure of reading certain books (which I never read anyway).

Hey my lovelies, this month has been an extremely busy month for me, from theory tests to personal issues. So I have been unable to post many (if any) reviews this month, however this is going to be rectified in the coming month. As in August I shall be going on holiday for just over a week giving me plenty of reading time, and you will be happy to know I already have 3 scheduled reviews written and ready to post. So there shall be at least 5 reviews posted in August. I was supposed to take part in the Booktube readathon this month and my goal was to read in 7 books, however I did only end up reading 2.

July TBR

The first book I read in the month of July was My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, I ordered this as I decided it was summer and I needed to read a light hearted contemporary and even though it did end up having some angsty moments, it was exactly what I needed, and I really enjoyed it. However, for most of this month I have either not been in a review writing mood or the books I have reviewed have a specific date by which they have to be posted, which is why My Life Next Door does not have a review.

The second book I read in July was Deeper by Allyn Lesley, I received this book in exchange for an honest review on the Deeper: Descent book tour in late August. I won't reveal much about this book due to the review coming out on the 19th August. Deeper is an adult suspenseful romance novel following a young teacher and self proclaimed in King of New York Noah.

Shockingly, the third book I read in July was Deeper: Descent by Allyn Lesley, I also received this book in exchange for an honest review and the review shall be posted on the 26th August. Descent is the sequel to the above mentioned book and further follows the story of Avi and Noah, although now they have even bigger enemies going against them.

The fourth book I read in July was The Departed by Kristy Cooper, this was a very interesting book and followed the idea of what if the rapture happened, or what if it didn't however everyone beleives it did. When Gwens best friend goes missing in one night along with thousand of others around the world, she's convinced that her best friend can't really be dead.

You may have seen my booktube readathon tbr, and I am happy to announce in that week I read a grand total of 3 books, whilst rereading one of the books 3 times(this shall make more sense below). 

The fifth book I read in July was Idol by Kristen Callihan, if you've been reading my blog for awhile then you will know that I first discovered Kristen Callihan back in January and fell in love with the Hook Up series, so when I heard about this one I wanted it right now. This also fell into my favourite author challenge, so how could I not? So I picked it up and I really enjoyed it, the only criticism I have is that the ending went far too fast for my liking. But what can you do?

This ofcause lead to me having to reread The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan, yes, I just had to do it, I simply couldn't help my self and in the midst of revising I read it. I am happy to say it was just as good as I remember and shall firmly stay on my favourites list.

The seventh, eighth and ninth book I read in July was The Highway Code, I had my theory test in the middle my readathon, so I didn't get to read all of the books I wanted as when I went to read it made me feel guilty that I wasn't revising. Does anybody else have this? Usually I can put it to the back of my mind, however this time I simply couldn't.

The tenth book I read in July was Real by Katy Evans, you may remember that I read Manwhore back in January, and when I saw Real was available for me to read, I simply had too. I have to say though I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected too and in my opinion I preferred Manwhore to Real.

August TBR

Hey my lovelies, this part of the post is going to be very short, as I have decided to not have a tbr in August. However I should hopefully be able to read a lot this month, as I am going on my second holiday of the year and shall be doing plenty of reading on the plane and the beach. 

Well, that's it for this month, hopefully you had a better reading month than I did, even though looking at my list I did read quite a bit, I just feel like I did no reading.

Hey my lovelies, welcome to my May monthly wrap up and my June tbr! This month I seemed to have quite a bit of difficulty getting into books, as I started reading a few and then put them down. However, I did go on a short holiday at the end of  the month, so I got to do quite a bit of reading whilst travelling. And because of this I ended up reading a grand total of 9 books.

 

The first book I read this month was The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey, I really enjoyed this book, a lot more than I expected to. Which is why I rated this a strong 5 stars, recently I have gotten a bit overwhelmed with my reviews, and I felt like every book I read I had to review, so I have now scrapped that idea and am only reviewing the books that I want too and ones that I've been requested to read. Anyway, back to the Fifth Wave, if you haven't already heard about the fifth wave, how have you not? The film came out earlier this year and the book is probably one of the most talked about in the ya book blog/booktube community. And it is worth the hype.

The second book I read this month was Verge by Rebecca Bradford, I received this for free in exchange for a honest review. This book was not what I expected it to be, as it went down a different paranormal route than i originally thought it would go down. The third book I read this month was Out of Order by Casey Lawrence, I received this as an arc for free in exchange for a honest review, I really enjoyed this book and whilst reading I had tears in my eyes and I honestly felt for the main character Corey so much, which is why I rated it a strong 4.5 stars. After reading three books that were supposedly first books in a series (Two of which the sequels have yet to be released), I decided I wanted reminisce a bit and read one of my favourite book series when I was younger and decided to pick up the Missing/1-800-where-are-you series by Meg Cabot. The first time I read this series I was in Year 4, which is probably slightly too young for the books, but I have always enjoyed her writing and when I realised I had not read anything of hers for awhile. I picked them up and ended up reading When Lightning Strikes, the first book in the series, Code Name Cassandra (book two), Safehouse, Sanctuary and Missing You.

The ninth book I read this month was The Wedding Trap by Adrienne Bell , this was one of them books that I saw was free on kindle, and decided to give it ago, however it wasn't for me and didn't really suit my reading needs, as I am not a fan of insta-love at the moment.

I also began reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor and got 87% through it, before finishing it on June 1st, a full review of this shall be posted on June 3rd.

The first book on my June tbr is Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor, due to me finishing Daughter of Smoke and Bone and wanting to find out why the second book in the series is so amazing. And then to find out how the series is going to end, which is why the second book on my June tbr is Dreams of Gods and Monsters, the third and final book in the series. 

The third book I plan to read is Half Lost by Sally Green, which is bought forward from last months tbr, as I didn't manage to get the chance to read it due to having to read other books in exchange for a review. 

That is it for this months tbr and wrap up my lovelies, I have decided on a small tbr this month, as hopefully it will allow me to actually finish this months and to get through the above mentioned books.

Hey my lovelies, and welcome to another monthly wrap up and tbr. Sadly, I only actually completed one of the seven books of my April tbr, as my plan was to read the Harry Potter series, however I only actually read the first book, but none the less I still read a grand total of 4 books and 3 novella's. So this month I have picked a relatively small tbr this time.

The first book I read this month was the one book I completed of my tbr and that was ... Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by J K Rowling, to be honest I'm not really sure what I thought about this as I found myself comparing it to the movie the entire time and I really do wish that I had read the books when I was younger before watching the films.

The first novella I read was The Proposal by Meg Cabot, now this was a book I enjoyed. It was so nice to meet back up with Suze and Jesse, although I did find myself forgetting who certain characters were, so I definitely see a reread in my future. Click here for the full review.

The second novella I read was Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell, after not necessarily going through a reading slump, but not feeling any inclination to read, I decided to pick this up, which if you didn't already know was one of 2016's World book day books. So how could I not read it? You can find the full review of it here.

The second novel I read this month was Memories of a Mad Man by Don Spector, I received this as part of a book tour, in exchange for a honest review. I definitely enjoyed this one and the review will be posted on the 9th May.

The third novella I read was Queen Song by Victoria Aveyard, I pre-ordered Cruel Crown months a go and was so excited to receive it in the post this morning, as I was waiting to read Glass Sword until I had received this. However I did find I couldn't remember most of the characters names and will probably have to read Red Queen again before Glass Sword. My tbr pile is just getting bigger and bigger.

The third book I read was Sugar Baby Beautiful by J. J Mcavoy, I read this as I had read some of her other books in the past and figured I would give this one ago, and although I did appreciate one of the endings plot twist, the fact that they took away the plot twist kind off ruined it for me. Sugar Baby Beautiful is about a young girl called Felicity who gets pushed into the world of sugar babys by her friends, where she meets billionaire Theodore Darcy. Yep, I bet you can guess exactly where this is going.

The fourth book I read this month was Hate List by Jennifer Brown, I have owned this book for around a year now so when I was doing a bit of reorganizing I thought that I would give it ago. Hate List is about a teenager called who one morning her boyfriend went into school and shot all of their bullies and some other people. This book deals with both her guilt, how other people view her and it also shows flashbacks to what actually happened that morning. This book was so good and it was everything I wanted it to be for such a hard hitting book. My full review for this is scheduled to be posted on 7th May.

As I haven't had much look with predicting which series I will read, I have decided to pick only standalone's or a single books in a series which I haven't read yet.

The first novel I plan to read is Verge by Rebecca Bradford, I received this in April on a read for review basis thanks to its publishing company, Austin Macauley. So I shall be reading this and hopefully posting a review for it soon. Verge is about a teenager who is thrust into a world she thought only belonged in fantasy books. That sounds really good to me, so I shall be getting onto that.

The second book I plan to read is Soundless by Richelle Mead, I received this as a Christmas present and have heard quite a range of reviews on it, however due to me enjoying the Vampire Academy series so much I shall definitely be giving it ago.

The third book and final book I plan to read is Half Lost by Sally Green, this is the final book in the Half Bad trilogy with the final book coming out in March, I practically ran to Waterstones and was lucky enough to find a signed hardcover there, and have yet to pick it up, so I shall definitely will at some point this month.

Due to me going to Disneyland Paris at the end of the month, I hope to get quite a bit of reading done whilst traveling. So I hope to read about 7 possibly 8 books this month. Hey my lovelies, here is my February and March wrap up and April Tbr, in the month of February I did not complete any of my tbr, so when it came around to setting one for March I decided to not make one in order to hopefully not feel too bad at the end of the month, when I realise I haven't read the books I originally planned too. Regardless to this in February I still read a grand total of 7 books and 4 in March.

February

The first book I read in February was Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, I decided to read this after really enjoying the first series of the tv show and enjoying her young adult series The Darkest Powers. However, I  did not enjoy it and for me it seemed rather repetitive and I found it hard to like the characters.

The next book I read in the month of February was Wallbanger , this was another book I disliked, the writing style was just not for me and then I found the characters not relatable and due to me starting to read it at college, me and my friend decided to read it at the same time and she found that it had the same problems. But overall the book did not suit me and I didn't enjoy it, which was why I rated it - stars.

The third book I read in February was Where she went by Gayle Forman, I have picked this one up various times since I first read If I Stay and I have never been able to remember what actually happens in it.. until now. Where she went is one of them strange books because their is a lot of stuff that I didn't like and that I did. However it is a nice conclusion to If I Stay.

The fourth book I read was A Midsummer Nightmare by Kody Keplinger, this was a reread for me as I really enjoy Kody Keplinger's writing and her characters never irritate me to the point where I no longer what to read the books.

The fifth book I read in February was The Deal by Elle Kennedy, after taking a few weeks off from reading a new adult novel, I figured I would start another to join my new adult year long readathon. I quite enjoyed this book, although I don't think it really matched up and was as good as the previous 5 star NA reads.

The sixth book I read in February was The Darkest Corners by Kara Thomas, I received this arc thanks to netgalley and I will post the full review closer to its publishing date in April. However, I did enjoy this book and it definitely kept me guessing.

And the final and seventh book I read in February was Two Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt, it was not as good as I believe it could be, which is why I only rated in 3 stars.

March

The first book I read in March was The Perfectionists by Sara Shepard, I had this on my shelf for a long time before finally getting round to it ,you can find out exactly what I think of it here. 

The second book I read was The Good Girls also by Sara Shepard, this was the second book in the duology, which I realised in order to ensure that I complete this series I had to read it now, before i fogot about it and it just began blending in with some of my other older books on my shelf. I also posted a full spoiler free review of this here.

The third book I read was The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson, this was a reread for me in order to rehash what happened for when I read The Heart of Betrayal, before the final book in the trilogy comes out later this year in summer. I also posted a spoiler free review of this available on April 1st.

And the fourth and final book I read in March was The Heart of Betrayal also by Mary E. Pearson, after receiving this for christmas I was really excited to read this, but after having a bit of a reading slump I decided to pick this up. I have reviewed this and it shall be coming out on the April 8th.

Now for my tbr portion. My TBR is a extremely popular series of 7 books, which I am still yet to read.
 Can you guess what it is?

 If you did congratulations, and if you didn't my April tbr is the complete series of the Harry Potter books. Which total a grand total of 3407 pages. So I need to take a whole month to dedicate to this amazing series, after not setting myself a tbr last month and not ending up reading that much, i am definitely setting myself a tbr this time.

I am extremely excited to get finally get round to these 7 books, I will be giving an update and mini review for each of these books at the end of the month, unless I post a review (or plan to) on the books.

Hey my lovelies, welcome to my January Wrap Up & February TBR! This month I decided to try a new genre, New Adult and read quite a few books in there. At least one of these is going in my favourites list this year, and some of them the opposite. Although I believe I did quite good this month, with reading a grand total of 9 books, which has put me well on my way to my 2016 Reading Goal of 75 Books. The only downside to the books I read was that none of them were on my tbr.

The first book I read this year was The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan. This was such a good read and really surprised me, the characters were relatable and the writing was fantastic and was the reason why I decided to do this New Adult experimentation in the first place (You can find all of my NA experiment books here), I was recommended this via goodreads, but was out of when I saw the cover and then put back on again when I saw the rating, honestly this book was so good and I recommend this to anyone, from people who are starting of with NA or just general NA readers. Soon as I have read around 10 NA books I shall do a mass review of a few different NA books I have read. This is definitely going in my favourite books of 2016.

The second book I read this year was the second sequel to The Hook Up and was The Game Plan by Kristen Callihan. I tried to read the second novel, but i just couldn't get into it, so I just skipped on. The Game Plan was also a extremely well written book, again the characters were relatable and it included characters from the Hook Up, which was nice as a little flash-forward. Although for me it was not as good as the Hook Up, but is there any series where the sequels are as good as the original?

The third, fourth & fifth book I read was Manwhore, Manwhore +1 and Ms. Manwhore by Katy Evans, another series I really enjoyed, they were well written and good characters, however personally I would have made some different choices, but nobody's perfect, right? The only negative with this series is that the first novel ends on a cliff hanger, so I do recommend you get the second book at the same time.

The sixth, seventh & eighth book I read was the 100 trilogy by Kass Morgan, even though the series had a low rating on goodreads, i pushed through because of how good the tv series was and I was wrong, I did not enjoy these books at all, you can check out my full review on why here. 

And finally the ninth book I read this year was Burning Yves by Joss Stirling, which isn't really a book, as it is a short companion novella from the Benedict Brothers series, which is one of my all time favourite series. I have reviewed another companion novel to the series, Misty Falls here.

Hey my lovelies, this month has gone so quick. I feel as if the month of Christmas has literallt flown by, but I have had quite a successful month in reading,after quite a long reading slump.

Early in December I started of with reading Hexed by Michelle Krye, which I purchased whilst i was buying christmas presents as i felt the need to treat myself. I did enjoy Hexed, which I rated 4 stars on goodreads.

After finishing Hexed, I noticed that I still had Catalyst by Lydia Kang, on my e reader which was unread, which I finally got round to reading. To be honest I much preferred the first novel in the duology, but i still rated it 4 stars, but the ending seemed a little anti-climatic for me.

The third novel i read in December was Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins, which you can read the review for here. 

The fourth novel I read in December was The Witch Hunter by Virginia Boecker, which my review comes out on the 1st December 2016. (2016! Doesn't seem that long ago since I did my read in January post).

The fifth, sixth and seventh novels I read were The It Girl, Notorious and Reckless all by Cecily Von Ziegesar. Sadly, I did not particularly enjoy any of these, although I believe i gave the first three a fair shot. I may write a review for the three, but i'm not sure yet.

The eighth book I read this month was Anne & Henry by Dawn Ius, Anne & Henry is a modern retelling of the tragedy of the English Monarchs King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. To learn more about this novel my review is scheduled to come out on 8th January.

And finally I also read a 32 page novella, which was Challenging Zed by Joss Stirling.

Hey my lovelies, this month has not been a good reading month, I have only read a total of five books.

I have been in a reading slump this month, and after reading Ugly Love at the beginning, I couldn't get into any other books. This was not because Ugly Love was a bad book, in fact the opposite. It was really good, but just one of them books where you can't be bothered to read any other books because the last one you read was so good.

The second book I read was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, this was also another good book, but I don't think it had the full impact on me due to me taking large break periods of a couple of days between picking the book back up.

The next three books I read this month I was sent as arcs, thanks to netgalley. They were The Sham by Ellen Allen. Suicide notes from Beautiful Girls by Lynn Weingarten and The Stellow Project by Shari Becker.

Hey my lovelies! Welcome to my May Wrap Up. This month I didn't have the chance to read that many books due to my GCSE exams, but I still managed to read a total of eleven books, which I don't think is too bad.

The first book I read in May was A Little Friendly Advice by Siobhan Vivian. I really wanted to read this around two years ago, after first reading Burn for Burn (also by Jenny Han). To be honest I feel really disappoint with it. It was a real life contemporary book, I found it was one of them books where you were just waiting for the book to pick up and sadly it never did. A Little Friendly Advice is about a sixteen year old girl called Ruby, Ruby lives with her mum in her small house and is estranged from her father. On her sixteenth birthday, her father turns up (who she hasn't seen in 7 years or something like that), after that she finds out that pretty much everyone is keeping secrets from her, and this book is Ruby finding them secrets out. I didn't like this book and rated it 3 stars on goodreads.

The second book I read in May was Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, before reading this I watched both Percy Jackson movies and wanted to know what happened afterwards, when I picked up the books I soon realised that there are a lot of differences between the book and the movie. The third book I read in May was the sequel to The Lightning Thief and it was the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. I enjoyed this book, although I have to admit I didn't think it was as good as the first novel. For more information you can check out my review of it here and also check it out on Goodreads.

The fourth book I read in May was Shift by Em Bailey, I picked this up in my local waterstones, as I thought it looked good, sadly I cannot decide if I enjoyed this book or not. You can learn more about it in my review here. Also check it out on Goodreads.

The fifth book I read in May was If I Stay by Gayle Forman, this was a reread for me as I just wanted to get out of a reading slump. You can read my review of it here. You can check it out on Goodreads here. 

The sixth book I read was Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, I really enjoyed this one, even more than I expected, you can check out my review of it here and Goodreads link.

The seventh book I read was Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, I had to read this in preparation for my english Literature Exam, so there will not be a review for this.

The eighth and ninth book I read were Angelfall (Review) and World After (Review), as you will know if you are a frequent reader of my blog, is that I loved the Penryn and the End of Days series. So of cause I reread these in preparation of End of Days coming out.

The tenth book I read this month was of cause End Of Days by Susan Ee. Meaning I have completed another trilogy, I really liked this one and saw it as a fitting conclusion to the series, you can read my review on it on June 12th.

The eleventh book I read in May was Girls by Savannah Avery, I received this book on a read for review basis and the review will be coming out Monday 8th June.

Hey my lovelies, welcome to this months Wrap Up! This month I read a grand total of twelve books, which wasn't bad, but not as many as last month.

The first book I read was Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick, considering how many bad reviews there are of this, I really enjoyed this. Even if I did see the plot twist coming from a mile off. You can check out my review for it here.

The next book I (finally) read was Girl Online by Zoe Sugg & Siobhan Curham. I know there was a lot of critiscm has been made about this book, but i enjoyed it you can check out my review for that here.

The fourth book  I read this month was Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green, you can check out my review for that here.

I completed an entire series this month and that was the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, this series includes Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound and Last Sacrifice. The review for this series will be coming out soon.

After completing the Vampire Academy series, I discovered the world of free kindle books, I then read Darkness of Light by Marie Stacey Brown.

The eleventh book I read this month was of cause From the Wreckage by Michele G. Miller, I really liked this and you can find out more about this in my review of it here.

Hey my lovelies, we are officially 1/4 through the year, it wasn't that long ago since christmas was it? Anyway this wrap up is quite a long one as I tried to read a book a day and instead of reading books on this months tbr list, I tended to read books that have been on my tbr for awhile now. Another good thing is that I've surpassed my half way point on my goodreads reading challenge! Woo hoo!

The first book I read in March was Hex hall by Rachel Hawkins. I know, I know i finally got round to reading it. I am so happy i can tick it of my tbr list. even though the book for me was a bit of a disappointment for me. After really enjoying Rebel Belle I was expecting great things and that didn't happen. If I'm bored one day I might pick up the sequel, but after reading it, I'm not going to be picking up the physical copy any time soon (I read it as an ebook).

The second book I read in March was The Distance Between Us by Kasie West, which I read on the same day as Hex Hall as I needed a bit of a pick me up. I really enjoyed this contemporary, the characters were interesting and I really wanted to know about the main female characters father and what happened with her parents and grandparents. So I enjoyed the book, although I'm not much for the ending, as it seemed unfinished, but I did enjoy the plot. This was another one I read as an ebook and hopefully I should be able to pick up the novel in paperback.

The third book I read this month, March 3rd to be exact, was Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi. Which means I have ticked another of my TBR list. I enjoyed Shatter Me, but I did expect it to be alot better than it is, after all the hype around the series. But I don't know, maybe the sequels get better?


 I read this month was DNA, which is a play I had to reread for school. Woohoo English Lit!

The fifth book I read was Need by Carrie Jones, this was a reread, which I don't think I ever finished, but whilst rearanging my book shelf discovered it again and figured I would give it a go.

Straight after I read Need, I went straight on to Captivate, Needs sequel. I read that in two hours and have now ordered the rest of the series. Which I'm very excited to read and find out how the quartet ends.

Later the same night I started The Young Elites by Marie Lu, which I then finished the next morning. As this is the first novel I have read by this author, I don't have anything to compare it too, but I will probably read the Legend trilogy later in the year.

The eight book I read this month was 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison, which I also read on the eight. This was a reread for me, as I first read it when I was in Year 6, but after finding it, I couldn't help but read it.

The next book I read was the first book in the 'summer' trilogy, The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I completed this in two sittings.

The 10th book I read in March was another reread, which was All American Girl by Meg Cabot.

The next book I finished was the second book in the 'summer' trilogy, It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han. Which I read alongside All American Girl.

Then I read the final book in the Summer trilogy, We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han.

After completing one series of Jenny Hans, I figured I must read her Burn for Burn series, also by Siobhan Vivian. I completed the first book about two years ago, so I reread it and went straight to the sequel Fire with Fire.

Absolutely loved fire with fire, what a plot twist! I am so glad I own the trilogy sand I don't have to go get it!

The 14th book I read this month was ... the final book in the Burn for Burn trilogy, although I didn't enjoy the epilogue, i did enjoy the series and will be adding it to my list of favourites.

The next book I read was Control by Lydia Kang, i have had this on my ereader for quite awhile and finally decided to give it ago. I expected to not enjoy it, but I really did. I give it around 4.25 out of 5 stars.

After having a almost week break from reading my last book I went to waterstones and picked up Half Bad by Sally Green after seeing its stunning cover. I then read it in one sitting, which lasted around 3 hours .

Then when I went to bed, I couldn't get to sleep and I have  had Obsidian on my ereader for awhile now but never got round to reading it and now I finally have!

The eighteenth book I read this month was the sequel to Obsidian, Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

The nineteenth book I read this month was Paper Towns by John Green. I watched the trailer on youtube and decided I would give it a try, so when I saw it and Looking for Alaska on the 2 for £7 offer at tesco I couldn't help myself.

I am currently 100 pages into Half Wild by Sally Green, which I started reading on the 29th, I am enjoying it so far, but it suddenly came to me that I begin my GCSE exams on 1st and figured I had better study, Oops.
